Robert McLamore

Robert Michael "Bobby' McLamore, 62, died Monday February 21, 2011 at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and from 10am until the 11am services Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church.\ \ Born in Mobile, Alabama to the late John and Daisy McLamore, Bobby was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. He loved to play golf and fish. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh with his jokes.\ \ He is survived by his wife, Elaine McLamore of Florence; son, Shawn (Michelle) McLamore of Brandon; daughters Nora (Doug) Sones of Florence and Shawna McLamore Cox of Brandon; and six grandchildren, Brittney Cox, Matthew McLamore, Colby Cox, Lauren McLamore, Coleman Sones, and Cameron Sones.\
