Mr. Robert Darold Rutland

Robert Darold Rutland, 65, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS on Monday, April 04, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at 2:00 p.m. Bobby was born in Lake Charles, LA on January 02, 1957 to Darold Rutland and Helen Moore Rutland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and classic cars. One of his favorite past-times was working on his 1970 Dodge Challenger with his boys and he loved going to Cruisin’ the Coast. Bobby was an avid gun collector. Most of all, he loved his family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Rutland. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patti Rutland; sons, Robby Rutland of Byram and Matt (Rachel) Rutland of Wichita, KS; stepmother, Shirley Rutland; grandson, Arthur Rutland; sisters, Leighan (John) Craine of Brandon and Carol (Bob) Carmean of Clinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
