Robert Andrew "Andy" Vinzant

Robert Andrew “Andy” Vinzant passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.  He was 56 years old. Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The Funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at High Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh.

Mr. Vinzant was born to Robert Charles Vinzant and Anna Mae Johnson on August 13, 1966, in Laurel, Mississippi. Andy loved working on cars. He was a Ford man through and through. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Andy loved his family, especially his two boys.  He had a servant’s heart. He would give you the shirt off his back.  Always willing to help anyone in need.

Along with Andy’s parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ernie Vinzant.  Andy is survived by his sons; John (Drew) Vinzant and Bryan Vinzant both of Columbia, TN; sisters; Debbie Cooke (Tommy) of Idabel, OK, Wanda Hughes of Asher, OK, Liz Donald (Jerry) of Florence, MS, Lynn Lord (Dennis) of Eagleville, TN; and brother, Eddie Wheeler (Donna) of Richland, MS.
