Rodney Hale

Mr. Rodney Hale, 62, died at his home in Jackson on February 5, 2009. Visitation will be Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and 10-11 a.m. on Monday prior to the 11 a.m. service at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Florence.\ \ Mr. Hale was a man that loved to fish and enjoyed collecting die cast cars. He had served in the US Army as a MP; worked as a fireman, chef and management of IGA Corp for many years. He was a member of Odenville Assembly of God Church.\ \ \ Mr. Hale is survived by his sons: Rodney Hale of Brandon Matthew Hale and Mark Hale both of Meridian; daughters: Rhonda Gill of Jackson and Melissa Dearing of Tupelo; brothers: James Hale of Baldwin, Jimmy Hale and Ronald Hale both of Meridian; sisters: Martha Swanner of Moody, AL, Gloria Nicholson of Semmes, AL, Reecie Voelz of Meridian and Drusilla Hall of Inverness; and 5 grandchildren
