Mr. Roger Kobiske

Allen Roger Kobiske, 77, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at UMMC in Jackson. Visitation will be 1pm until the 2pm memorial service Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Raymond Road Baptist Church. Mr. Kobiske was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Marines and was longtime resident of Raymond. He was a Training Instructor at Puckett Machinery specializing in Caterpillar engines. He loved teaching, especially Navy Seals how to repair engines on their boats and he loved to ride his lawn mower, work on projects and just tinker. Mr. Kobiske was a member of Raymond Road Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon, choir member and Sunday School teacher. He loved his Lord, church and family. He is preceded in death by his son Jeff Kobiske; first Wife Barbara Waters Kobiske and by his parents and sister. Survivors include his wife Sue Kobiske of Raymond; children, Allen Kobiske, Jr. (Joyce) of Memphis, TN, Ronda Hester (Keith) of Raymond and Judy Houston (Barry) of Southaven; grandchildren Cody (Brittany), Rachel, Jewels, Devon, Brooke, and Jeffrey; four great grandchildren; a host of friends and his faithful companion “Holly” his Chihuahua.
