Roger Curtis Smith Jr. passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, December 1, 2022. He was 26 years old.

Curt was born on March 13, 1996, in Jackson, Mississippi to Roger Curtis Smith Sr. and Marllana Myers. Curt was a workaholic. His specialty was heavy equipment and cars. He worked in construction as a foreman. Curt loved to hunt. He loved helping people and making their lives better.

Curt is preceded in death by his uncles, Jessie Davis Glenn, Roman Jacob McNair and Nathaniel Seth McNair and his best friend, Alvin Thornton. He is survived by his mother, Marllana Myers (C.K.) of Florence; father, Roger Curtis Smith Sr., brothers, Ethan Smith (Morgan) of Florence and Drew Davenport of Carthage; grandparents, Frances Smith of Carthage, Melody McNair of Carthage, Shirley Blanco of Florence and Hardin Myers of Pinola; children, Carly, Timothy, Roman and Lunati Smith; aunts, Tammy White (Steve) of Pelehatchie, Dale Moore (Jerry) of Carthage and May Carol Moore (Leo) of Carthage; step brother, Nathan Myers of Florence; step siste,r Madison Myers of Columbia; nieces;, Autumn Smith, Nova Smith, Everleigh Smith and Jescey Smith; and nephew, Wyatt Tillman.
