Ronald Farmer

Ronald Hubert Farmer, 68, died July 29, 2011, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 31 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with services following at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.\ \ Mr. Farmer retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He was also a police officer for the Hazlehurst Police Dept. for 8 years and was a volunteer fireman for the Copiah Co. Volunteer Fire Dept. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Florence. Mr. Farmer loved the Lord and his church, and also loved to fish.\ \ He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Mary Lois Bass Farmer, sister, Terry Lynn Kees and brother, Johnny Lee. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Sheri), sons, Mike (Stacey) of Plano, TX and Jeff (Dana) of Bartlett, TN, step-son, David Kittrell (Rozana) of Florence, step-daughter, Carrie Kittrell of Florence, brother, Farrell (Gail) of Crystal Springs, 3 grandchildren, Shaw, Zachery and Joshua, 1 step-granddaughter, Annie Kittrell and numerous nieces and nephews.\ \ In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund.\ \
