Ronald Francis Levangie, Jr, 55, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his home in Raymond. Visitation will be 5-8pmTuesday, July 17, 2018 and again on Wednesday, July 18 from 10am until the 11am funeral service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Ron was a lifelong resident of the Jackson area and member of Griffith Memorial Baptist Church. He was a huge Auburn fan and there was nothing he liked better than his Auburn team. Ron was well known for welding unique crosses, which he was very good at in “Ronnie’s Welding Shop”. He enjoyed making them and giving them to people he loved and to local hospitals and doctors. Ron loved to ride and above all loved the Lord, his family and his church family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; numerous aunts and uncles and his precious “fur babies”, “Little Bit”, “Trouble” and “Elvis the Cat”. Survivors include his parents, Nelson and Mary Walters of Raymond; grandmother, Mae Burk of Jackson; brother, Troy Walters of Jackson; sisters, Kim Marie Lavangie of Raymond and Pam Brock (James) of the Gulf Coast.
