Ronnie Weeks

Mr. Ronald E. Weeks, 55, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29th from 5-8 pm and Wednesday, November 30th from 10 am until the 11 pm service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Goodwater Baptist Church Cemetery in Forest.\ \ Mr. Weeks was raised in Wesson and spent most of his life in Clinton before moving to Pineville 6 years ago. He was a member of Leaf River Baptist Church in Pineville and previously a member of Country Woods Baptist and Raymond Road Baptist Church. He was a salesman for a number of years and was the Regional Manager of US Nutrition for 10 years where he was passionate about his work, achieving Salesman of the Year numerous times. He was an avid outdoorsman and a member of Gideons International.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Martha Weeks of Pineville; his two daughters, Mandy (Prentiss) Newman of Sumrall and Marti (Lee) Franks of Caledonia; father and stepmother, John and Karen Weeks of Terry; mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Henry Pauly of Plano, TX; brother, Albert Weeks of Madison; stepbrother, Mike Pitts of Starkville; sister, Elizabeth Crisler of Terry; stepsister, Michelle Carter of Fairhope, AL; and known as "Grump" to his three grandchildren, Caroline Newman, Marlee Kate Franks and Cole Franks.\ \ In Lieu of flowers the family ask that you make donations to Gideons International or Leaf River Baptist Church in Pineville.\
