Roy Bland

Roy E. Bland, 67, a resident of Bolton passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 Sunday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Visitation will begin at Bolton United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the Bolton cemetery. John Gordon will officiate the services and will be assisted by David Bucholtz.\ He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Hazel Bland, his son Tony Bland, his sister Linda Aders, and brothers Charles Bland and William Bland.\ Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Cheryl Bland; his three children Rusty Bland, Pam Creswell, and Sherry Jordan; 7 grandchildren: Chase Jordan, Blake Jordan, Britt Jordan, Jett Bland, Jaci Bland, Lauren and Lindsey Creswell; 3 great grandchildren: Hayden Jordan, Austin Jordan, and Matthew Jordan; sister Sue Whitley, brother Gene Bland; many nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.\
