Mr. Roy Stewart

Jesse LaRoy “Roy” Stewart, 71, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at his residence. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, March 19 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will be 2:30pm Wednesday March 20 at Lakewood Memorial Park South. Mr. Stewart was born in Vaiden, MS to the late Donnie and Martha Bishop Stewart. He retired from MS Baptist medical Center after 35 years as an administrator and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Frank Stewart. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ann Stewart of Florence; son, Lance Stewart (Laura) of Edwards; brother, John Stewart (Carolyn) of Palmer, Alaska; sister, Doris Summers (Karl) of Jackson; sister-in-law, Betty Stewart; granddaughter, Canada Stewart.
