Royce Schneider Vaughn

Royce Marlene Schneider Vaughn passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at her home in Pelahatchie, MS. She was 68 years old. 

Royce was born on April 2, 1956, to Roy William Schneider and Mabel Theresa Varady Schneider in Granite City, IL. She has lived in Pelahatchie since 1998. Royce loved gardening and tending to her flowers. She enjoyed camping and family gatherings. Royce loved shopping and spending time with her family. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she made it special. She will truly be missed.

Royce is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenny Schneider and Donald Schneider; sister, Janine Schneider; stepdaughter, Crystal Lynn Stoyanoff; former spouse John Stoyanoff; niece, Christine Johnson; nephew, Jody Rineheart; and sister, Polly Schneider. She is survived by her children, Glenn Mehl of IL, Eric Mehl (Misty) of CA, John Hendrix (Mary) of MS, and Theresa Kelly (James) of MS; significant other, Robert Vaughn; grandchildren, Sierria, Kaylin, Glenn, Scottie, Ashley, Cassidy, John, Amber, Donald, Jesse, Gregory, Angelic, Zachary, Royce, and James; great grandchildren, Gracelyn, Iris, Adisyn, Noah, and Brody; and brothers, David Schneider of MS, Michael Scheider (Terry) of CA, and Larry Schneider of MT.
