Mrs. Ruby K. Andrews

Ruby K. Andrews, 95 , passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at her home in Florence. Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, September 19, 2014 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 2pm Saturday, September 20 in the funeral home chapel with a one hour visitation prior to service time. Entombment will follow at Rosemont Gardens. Mrs. Andrews was born in Leake County, MS, to the late Frank and Minnie Jones Winfield and raised in Union, MS. She retired from the Mississippi Forestry Commission as a Fire Tower Spotter and was a member of Eastern Star. Mrs. Andrews was well traveled, living all over the east coast after her late husband of 65 years, William E. Andrews retired from the Navy after 23 years of service. She is also preceded in death by sons Robert “Andy” Andrews and Charles “Poppa Steve” Andrews.
