Ruby Sherbert

Mrs. Ruby Jo Sherbert, 89 died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. \ Visitation is 5-8 Monday and 9-10 Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services are 10am Tuesday at the funeral home with burial following at Natchez Trace Memorial Park in Madison.\ A native of Etowah County, AL, Mrs. Sherbert moved to Jackson in 1958. She retired from T G & Y with 25 years of service and has been a Wal Mart associate for the last 23 years.\ She is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Sherbert, daughter, Brenda Sherbert and son, Melvin Sherbert.\ She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Juanice (Johnny) Jones , grandsons, Dean (Joanna) and Chris (Delisa) Jones, Nathan (Heather) and Chad Sherbert, and special grandson Brian Sherbert, granddaughter, Lauren Sherbert, 7 great grand children, and brothers, Roy (Gwen) Ellis and Buford Ellis and a number of nieces and nephews.\
