Russell L. McAdory

Russell LeRoy McAdory, Sr., born November 22, 1931 to Russell Lamar and Lillye Patterson McAdory, passed away Monday night, January 23, 2012 at Central Mississippi Medial Center after a long illness. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, January 25 and 10am until the 11am funeral service Thursday, January 26, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will follow at 2:30pm at Fuston Cemetery in Walnut Grove, MS.\ \ Mr. McAdory, 80 years of age, retired as Purchasing Agent at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi in 1981 due to health problems.\ \ He was preceded in death by his parents, his youngest brother, Billy Lamar McAdory, Noxapater, MS, his sister, Eileen M. Bridges Edmonson of Clinton, nephew, William Shane Hanna of Sylacauga, AL. and brother-in-law, Edgar Edmonson of Clinton.\ \ He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Hilda Ann Hanna McAdory, as they were married on February 5, 1956. Other survivor's are son, Rusty McAdory, of Terry, special granddaughter whom he adored, Megan Hanna McAdory, of Brandon, MS, sister, Estelle McAdory Chiles (James) of Clarksdale, brother, Thomas H. McAdory, (Ann) of Clinton, brother, Robert Earl McAdory, (Bobbie) of Noxapater and sister-in-law, Joye McAdory of Noxapater, aunts, Iva Patterson Johnson of Mobile, AL and Mildred McAdory Harrell of Morton; brother-in-law, Kenneth Earl Hanna, (Dottye) of West Palm Beach, FL, and brother-in-law William Harold Hanna, (Dorothy) of Sylacaugha, AL.
