Ms. Ruth Gleit Peeples

Ruth Ellen Gleit Peeples, 58, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at UMC in Jackson. Visitation will be at 10am until the 12pm funeral service Friday, August 11, 2017 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Sandtown UMC Cemetery in Philadelphia, MS at 3:30pm. Mrs. Peeples was a longtime resident of the Jackson/Byram area, attending New Beginnings Christian Ministries Church in Byram. She retired from Homeland Title Company. Mrs. Peeples enjoyed cooking and the outdoors. She was a loving, giving, selfless person and she will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents Dr. Chester and Carol Gleit. Survivors include her son Paul Peeples of AK; brothers, Robert Gleit of AR and Nathan Gleit of GA; sister, Natalie Engelhart of NC; mother-in-law Rachel C.
