Ruth Porch

Annie Ruth King Porch, Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, finally found her way Home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday February 18, 2012 after suffering from Alzheimer's and complications of pneumonia. Visitation will be 4-8PM Tuesday February 21, 2012 and 10AM until the 11AM service on Wednesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Internment will follow at Lakewood South. \ \ Ruth was born in Paducah, KY to Luther Davis King and Leoma Ruth Davis King March 28, 1931. They returned home to Raymond in 1937. She attended Central High School and graduated from Clinton High School in 1949. She married the love of her life, Grady A. Porch, June 30, 1950 and served with the Ladies Auxiliary during the years Grady was on the Jackson Fire Department. \ \ Ruth and her family attended Alta Woods Presbyterian Church in Jackson until they closed and moved her letter to Providence Presbyterian in Clinton.
