Ruth Rowzee

Ruth Evelyn Rowzee, 86, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Briar Hill Nursing Home in Florence. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 18, 2010 from 5-8pm and Wednesday from 9am until the 10am service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence.\ \ Born in Little Rock, MS to the late Melvin and Martha White, Ruth volunteered at VA Hospital along with her husband for over 25 years. She also enjoyed crocheting.\ \ She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Homer Rowzee; four sons, Homer Rowzee of Florence, Alfred (Judy) Rowzee of Florence, Jeff (Carol) Rowzee of Florence, and Robbie (Shirley) Rowzee of Brandon; daughter, Brenda (Tommy) Emory; half-brother, Ronnie White of Union; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.\
