Mrs. Ruth Sills

Ruthie Mae Sills, 88 , passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-7pm Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 2pm Sunday, April 13, in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Terry Cemetery. Mrs. Sills grew up in Simpson County, living most of her adult life in the Terry and Crystal Springs Area. She had worked at Packard for one year, N&W Factory in Jackson and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband James L. Sills, parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her sons, James L. Sills, Jr. (Renna) of Star, Bobby Glen Sills and Christopher Sills, both of Wesson; daughters, Peggy Patterson and Martha Carolyn Odom both of Byram, Janice Childs (Gary) of Brandon, Janet Easley (Larry) of Baton Rouge, LA and Shelia Diane Blanton (Gene) of Dallas, TX; 18 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
