Ruth Tucker

Mrs. Ruth Virginia Tucker, 83, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Saturday, May 28 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence from 5-8pm and Sunday, May 29th from 1pm until the 2pm service in the funeral home Chapel. Burial will follow at Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.\ \ A native of Terry, Mrs. Tucker was a longtime resident of the Clear Branch Community where she was a homemaker and member of Clear Branch Baptist Church.\ \ Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, A.C. Tucker; her Great Grandson, Isaac Pearson; five sisters; and two brothers.\ \ She is survived by her son, Eddie (Teresa) Tucker of Florence; Brothers, T.W. Whittington of Perkinston, MS and Gordon Whittington of Walnut Grove, MS; Sisters, Ann Gibson of Vicksburg, MS and Delores Ferguson of Crystal Springs, MS; Grandchildren, Linc (Christy) Tucker and Amber (Nick) Pearson; and Great Grandchildren, Shelby Tucker, Shanely Wilson, and J.T. Pearson.\
