R. V. (rusty) Chandler

R.V. (Rusty) Chandler, 49, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at CMMC in Jackson. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am Friday, June 13, 2008 at the corner of Brock Road and Hwy 27 in Utica. This was one of Mr. Chandler's favorite hunting spots. Rev. Claude Shufelt will be officiating. Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram in charge of arrangements.\ \ Mr. Chandler was born October 12, 1958 to Ruben Vern and Bessie Parker Chandler, Sr. in Jackson, MS. He had lived in Utica since 1985 and was an avid hunter, gun collector and lifetime member of the NRA. Rusty was a machinist at Easley Tool having worked there since 1979. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon.\ \ Survivors included his wife Kristy Chandler of Utica; son, Jacob Chandler of TX; daughter, Sarah Chandler of Utica; mother, Bessie Batton of Utica; brother, Barry Chandler of Florence; sisters, Becky Reese of Jonesboro, GA and Margie Lindsey of Brandon.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
