Mr. Sam Littleton Sr.

A loving father, husband, and grandfather, Sam Littleton Sr., 79, passed away in Baton Rouge, LA on December 24, 2019. Visitation will be 10:00 am Monday, December 30, 2019 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram until the 12:00 pm funeral service in the chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. Littleton was a long-time resident of Clinton and a member of Midway Baptist Church. He was employed for thirty-two years with Roadway Express as a diesel mechanic. He was on the board of supervisors for the FOA (Friends of Alcoholics) in Pocahontas, MS. Sam enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farming. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margarette; two daughters, Deborah Littleton and Patricia Littleton Lewis; and a grandson, Isaac Hodges. He leaves behind his son, Sam Littleton Jr. of Clinton; daughter, Celesta (Karl) Littleton Hodges of Sylvarena, MS; brother, Charles Littleton of LA; sister, Kitty Ruth Lowery of Brandon; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
