Sammie Lynn Davis Blackwell

Sammie Lynn Davis Blackwell passed away at her home in Florence on Friday, December 7, 2018. Her family will be holding a service to celebrate her life at a later date. Mrs. Blackwell was born on December 8, 1978 in Jackson, MS to Sam Lee Davis and the late Marie Davis. Sammie was a lifelong resident of the Jackson area. Sammie was of the Baptist faith; she was a loving mother and daughter. Sammie was known as a happy, free spirit who adored her children and loved life. Mrs. Blackwell is preceded in death by her Mother, Helen Marie Davis and her brother Eddie Elmore. She is survived by her father, Sam Davis; her son, Justin Davis; her daughters, Tabitha and Makayla Bass; her brother, Richard Davis and her granddaughter, Caroline Davis.
