Sammy Seaney

Mr. Samuel "Sammy" Eugene Seaney, 61, ended his earthly journey on December 31, 2008 at University Medical Center. Visitation will be Saturday, 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be at the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Harrisville Cemetery.\ \ Mr. Seaney grew up in Pearl and was a 1965 graduate of Pearl High School and had lived in Harrisville for 31 years. He was a Jet Engine Mechanic for 38 years with Ms Air National Guard and was currently working at the Jackson/Hinds Library as Supervisor of Maintenance. \ \ He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Elizabeth Seaney; mother, Connie Seaney of Pearl, daughter, Suzanne Mulligan and husband,Dennis Mulligan, Jr. of Florence; brothers: Marlon Seaney of Pearl and Bobby Seaney of Brandon; and 3 grandchildren: Zachary, Colton and Madalynn Mulligan.\
