Sandra Temple

Sandi Temple, 59, entered the gates of heaven on March 6, 2025. She was born on February 16, 1966, in Tampa, FL, to Norman L. Nix and Martha May Nix.

Sandi was a stay-at-home mom who enjoyed collecting rocks and playing cards. She loved watching television, and her favorite shows were That 70s Show, George Lopez, Full House, and The Golden Girls.

Sandi is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Temple, and her parents, Norman and Martha Nix. She is survived by her three sons, Dylan Lloyd Temple (Colleen), Justin Blake Temple (Isabella), and Junior Temple; her daughter, Summer Marie Temple (Brett); her two brothers, Henry Wilson (Jane) and Ritch Wilson, Jr. (Sarah) of Sun City Center, Florida; her grandchildren, Gracelynn, and Nevaeh; her three sisters, Darlene “Dee” Kennedy (Mack) of Florence, MS, Terrie Peterson (Ed) of Hayward, Wisconsin, and Marti Nix of Lakeland, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS, on Tuesday, March 11th, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a chapel service at the same location. Following her chapel service, a graveside service will take place at Mt. Creek Cemetery in Florence, MS.
