Mrs. Sarah Ann Bailey

Sarah Ann Moore Bailey, 89, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 02, 2022 at her son and daughter-in-law’s home in Terry, MS. Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS on Saturday, March 05, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. Sarah Ann was born in Pelahatchie, MS on January 30, 1933 to the late Carl Moore and Ena Searcy Moore. She enjoyed cutting grass, working in her yard, putting together jigsaw puzzles, decorating, and arranging her pretties around the house. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them. Sarah Ann loved the Lord and was a member of Country Woods Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Bailey, Jr. and her sister, Ella Kathryn Sanford (Marshall). She is survived by her son, Mick Bailey (Dana) of Terry; sister, Jane Walters (Henry) of Brandon; grandchildren, Mikayla “Little Love” Bailey; Logan Harrell (Anna), and Bo Harrell (Amanda); great-grandchild, Hayden Harrell; and several nieces and nephews.
