Sarah Elizabeth Gregory

Sarah Elizabeth Gregory, beloved sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Natchez Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born on April 5, 1960, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Bobby Jack and Margaret Honn Gregory. Sarah graduated from Millsaps College in 1982 and Mississippi College School of Law in 1994. Admitted to the Mississippi Bar Association the following year, Sarah was active in the practice of law, as well as serving as public defender to the City of Florence and the City of Richland.

Sarah was a resident of Richland for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her great nieces. A devoted LSU football fan, she will always be remembered for her love for the music of Jimmy Buffet.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Patrick Gregory (Robin) of Mission, KS and her sister, Emily Biggs (Mark) of Madison, MS; nieces, Jennifer Gregory, Anna Biggs McGraw (Thomas), and Avery Biggs; and great nieces, Caroline, and Sutton McGraw.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
