Mrs. Sarah Lynn Linton

Sarah Lynn Linton, 80 passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Brookhaven. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS from 1-4:00pm. The Funeral Service will begin at 4:00pm with burial to follow in Terry Cemetery. Mrs. Linton was born in McAdams, and spent most of her life in Terry. After 35 years she retired from Hancock Fabric. Sarah was an excellent seamstress and example of a Christian mother and she loved and adored her son-in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Lucille Gilbert; husband, William “Dub” Linton; grandson, Soloman Eli Linton; and son-in-law, Larry Craft. Survivors include her children, Barbara Lynn (Eddie) Calcote of Brookhaven, Patricia (Johnny) King of Wesson, Dallas Ray Linton, Sr. of Terry, and Vickie Craft of Pearl; sister, Carolyn Braswell of Terry; and 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren who referred to her affectionately as Mamaw Sabe.
