Sarah Frances Miles

Sarah Frances Miles went to be with her loving Savior on Thursday, August 24, 2023, in Crystal Springs, MS.  She was 77 years old.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland, MS.

Sarah was born on July 2, 1946, to Alton Leroy and Lucy Mae Greer Taylor in Mount Olive, MS. She was raised in Richland but moved to Crystal Springs in 1991 where she was a member of Florence Church of Christ. She was employed for Constar Plastic for 28 years. She loved her family and spending time with her grandbabies. Sarah loved bowling, fishing, and canning. Sarah enjoyed crocheting and making blankets for close family, extended family, and friends.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents; her twin brother, Thomas “Tom” Elliot Taylor; baby brother, Robert “Bob” Taylor; and sister, Adelia “Dee” Taylor Ford. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Miles of Crystal Springs; daughters, Angelia Gauld of Crystal Springs, and Mary Frances Miles of Pisgah/Brandon; son, Ed Miles (Becky) of Fannin; grandchildren, Will Barlow, Aaron Barlow, Kristina Chrestensen, Christopher Graves, Sarah Graves, Samantha Sherman, and Jenny Okamura; 11 great grandchildren; brother, William E. “Bill” Taylor of Crystal Springs and a host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
