Mrs. Sarah Delores Peters

Sarah Delores Peters, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Mrs. Peters took care of her family and was a very devoted member of the Page Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school, vacation bible school and took on many other active roles for the church. Mrs. Peters was preceded in death by her son, Vernon Peters II and her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Vernon Peters of Kincaid, WV; daughter, Vicki (Lowell) Poe of Florence, MS; grandchildren, Wayne Poe, Kevin (Terra) Poe all of Florence, MS and Vernon Peters III, Jennifer (Marshall) Tincher all of Kincaid, WV; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. “Her children rise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” Proverbs 31:28 Tyree Funeral Home to handle funeral service and burial arrangements. 999 Jones Oak Hill, WV 25901-2015 (304) 469-3351
