Sarah Holland Guy

Mrs. Sarah Bell Holland Guy, 81, completed her earthly journey surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at her home in Richland. Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday at Jesus Name Tabernacle in Richland. Services will be at 2 p.m. at the church with ministers; Dr. John Scheel, Rev. Wayne Watson, Rev. George Guy and Dr. Jean Holland officiating. Interment will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at O'Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS.\ \ Mrs. Guy is preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Guy, parents: Rev. Wiley and Eula Holland; brothers: Jerry, Charles, Winfred, G.W. Floyd and Bobby Dean Holland; sisters: Doris and Dorothy Holland.\ \ She leaves behind her son, Rev. George (Sybil) Guy of DeQuincy, LA, daughter, Doris (Johnnie) Kircher of Richland; sister: Rev. Dr. Jean Holland of Florence; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; a special nephew, Jerry (Mary) Holland of Bude; special niece, Charlene (Charles) Stump of Natchez; special friends, Jay McManus and the Specialist Group of Wichita, KS.\ \ The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Sta-Home Hospice staff, her church family at Jesus Name Tabernacle and Chancellor Funeral Home for their love, support and care.\
