Mr. Scottie Stanford

Scottie Laddell Stanford, 47, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at his home at Eagle Lake in Vicksburg, MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Scottie was a longtime resident of Byram, having lived the last 3 months at Eagle Lake. He was a plumber for Cooper Plumbing and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Scottie loved to hunt, was a great fisherman, loved to race and work on race cars, but above all, he loved his family. He is preceded in death by his mother Joyce Stanford. Survivors include his father, Willis “Billy” Stanford of Vicksburg; wife Theresa Wilson Stanford of Vicksburg; sons, Scottie Stanford, Jr. of Byram and Benjamin Stanford of Richland; daughters, Billie Stanford and Breanna Stanford both of Richland; sisters, Ann Stringer and Carrie Barrentine (Percy) both of Richland; niece, Margaret McLean of Richland; step-children, Marie Hollingsworth, Douglas Wilson and Kenneth Wilson; seven step-grandchildren and a host of friends.
