Mrs. Sharon "Sheri" Farmer

Sharon “Sheri” Lynn Farmer passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, September 27, 2021 at her home, with her family by her side. She was 65 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Garden of Memories. Mrs. Farmer was born April 30, 1956 to the late Herbert and Bottsy Smith in Louisville, KY. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she enjoyed to teach children in Sunday School and serving in the puppet ministry. She loved spending time with her family, especially in the past few years, and she enjoyed adult coloring books. Along with her parents, Sheris is also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Farmer; and her sister, Sandra Smith. She is survived by her son, David (Rozana) Kittrell of State Line, MS; daughter, Carrie Kittrell of Florence; granddaughters, Annie Kittrell and Atleigh Kittrell; sisters, Wanda Maulding Green (Steve) of Mobile, AL and Jeanne Park (Chris) of Florence, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
