Mr. Shawn Earl Fondren

Mr. Shawn Earl Fondren, 47, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 in Florence, MS. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, September 4th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again Thursday, September 5th from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service all at Chancellor Funeral home in Florence. A private family burial will be held at West Shady Grove Cemetery in Eupora, MS. Shawn was born March 21, 1972 in Eupora, MS to Sidney Fondren and Diana Dunbar. He was a generous man, not only with money, but with his time and talents. Shawn was a hard worker and provided for his family working as a trim carpenter. A fun-loving guy, Shawn enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Whether it was going to car shows or swap meets, boating, fishing, or just grilling and cooking for gatherings at home. He loved old hot rods and cruising around in his red truck. He enjoyed creating, building, and fixing things with his hands. Along with his parents, Shawn is also preceded in death by his brother. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Diana Fondren of Florence, MS; son, Chase (Chelsea) Fondren of Brandon, MS; daughters, Brooke (Curt) Jordan of Owensboro, KY and Bailey Fondren of Florence, MS; two brothers, and two grandchildren, Kaylie and Kayden Fondren.
