Shelton Cliburn, 74, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Friday, August 3rd from 6-8 pm and Saturday, August 4th from 1pm until the 2pm service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Brady Cemetery in Prentiss.\ \ Mr. Cliburn was born November 3, 1937, to the late Ralph and Grace Robinson Cliburn. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence. He was a resident of Richland since 1962, where he enjoyed coaching little league baseball. Mr. Cliburn was an automotive manager for years, owning and operating the Chevron Service Station in Richland. He later was operations manager for Wells Fargo Pony Express, from which he retired. After his retirement, Mr. Cliburn was a park attendant for the city of Richland until 2006.\ \ Mr. Cliburn was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Cleve. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Brady Cliburn of Richland; son, Brad Cliburn (Carla) of Florence; daughter, Brigitte Cliburn Smith (Chris) of Florence; brother, Cecil Cliburn of Prentiss; and four grandchildren, Cody, Brady Brianne, Kallie Ruth, and Daulton Bradley.\
