Shirley Adcock

Shirley Adcock, 60, died at Baptist Hospital February 28, 2011. Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence Wednesday, March 2nd from 4-8pm The service will be Thursday, March 3rd at 10am in the chapel followed by a graveside service at 1:30pm at the Adcock Family Cemetery in Thomastown.\ \ Mrs. Adcock was born to the late Oliver and Pearl Skipper in Ruston, LA. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ted Adcock; children, Connie and Joseph Adcock; and her brother.\ \ She is survived by her son, Todd Adcock; daughter, Teresa Peacock (Keith); brothers, Leroy, Wayne and Joe Skipper; sisters, Jean Pullig, Betty Hood, and Patsy Graves; brother-in-law, Don (Gail) Adcock; 5 grandchildren, Aaron, Chelsea, and Shelby Peacock and Zachary and Nicholas Adcock; and numerous nieces and nephews.\
