Mrs. Shirley Ann Davis

Mrs. Shirley Ann Davis passed away on Monday, November 6, 2018 at Brandon Court in Brandon at the age of 76 years old. A Memorial Service has been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 8th in the chapel of Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, on Hwy 49 South; visitation will be one hour prior to service. Following the service, burial of the cremains will take place at Rosemont Gardens in Jackson, off I-55. Mrs. Davis was born May 28, 1942 in Oktibbeha, MS to M.E. and Mattie Bell [Ingram] Vanlandingham. She did clerical work for Raytheon for a lot of her adult life. Mrs. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David E. Davis; son, Mark Davis; 2 brothers, and 8 sisters. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Susan Hodges and her husband, Neal of Florence and Rene’ Davis of Richland; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made in Mrs. Davis’s honor to a charity of your choice.
