Shirley Harrison

Shirley Harrison, 73, of Star passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at St. Dominic's Hospital. Visitation will be Monday, March 5, 2012 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday 1-2 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Star Baptist Church Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Harrison was born in Brookhaven, MS. She worked as a nurse for the University of MS Medical Center. She has been a member of Star Baptist Church since 1982.\ \ She is survived by her husband, LeeRoy Harrison of Florence; daughter, Tammy Byrd (Larry) of Florence; granddaughter, Shelby Byrd; brothers, John Thomas Smith (Lisa) of Magee, James Means of Florence and Billy Earl Smith of Collins; and sisters, Nancy Kay Smith and Bonnie Sue Rowland both of Florence.\ \ Family guestbook may be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com. \
