Mrs. Shirley Lewis

Mrs. Shirley Lewis, 79, died Sunday morning, March 23, 2014, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm March 25, 2014, and from 1-2 pm on Wednesday prior to the funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Rosemont Gardens. A native of Tipton County Indiana, Mrs. Lewis was born to the late Russell and Clara Hoover. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Raymond “Bill” Lewis, brother William Michael Hoover, and sister Roberta Copher. Survivors include sons Scott Lewis of Clinton, Brad (Stacy) Lewis of Pearl, daughter Melynda (Rick) Sloan of Destrehan, LA, brother Jeff Hoover of Tipton, Indiana, grandchildren Bradley Lewis, Braden Lewis, Amber Hubbard, Brande Leeper, and Isaac Sloan, and great grandchildren Dakota Bilbrey, Chloe Shumaker, Madison Shumaker, Isabella Shumaker, and Christian Leeper.
