Mrs. Shirley Jean Ward

Shirley Ward Harrisville Shirley Jean Ward, 81, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at her home in Harrisville. Visitation will be Thursday, August 8th from 5-8pm and Friday, August 9th from 9am until the 10am funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Harrisville. Mrs. Ward was born in Simpson County on March 11, 1932. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Milton Ward. She is survived by her son, Larry (Vivian) Ward or Long Beach; daughters, Vickie (Gary) Sills of Harrisville and Debra Carroll of College Station, TX; sisters, Pauline Beal of SC, Edna Dear of Harrisville, and Sue Harper of Harrisville; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.
