Glynis Stacy Windham, 55, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. There will be a Graveside Service on Wednesday, January 20th at 1:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories. Due to the guidelines regarding Social Distancing, face coverings will be required and must be worn at the visitation and graveside service. Stacy was born December 3, 1965 to Glen and Audrey Foster in Yazoo City, MS. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Richland and retired after 31 years as a Teacher. She was known as the “Math Momma” at Richland High School, where she taught for 15 years. She loved being on the ball field, watching her boys play ball. She also enjoyed taking trips to Disney with her family and loved family game night! Stacy is preceded in death by her father, Glen Foster; her Papa, Charles Langston; and her grandparents, Leonard and Ruby Foster and LV and Mary Thrasher. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Tony Windham; her mother, Audrey Langston; her sons, Brady Windham of Pearl, J.T. (Katie) Windham of Petal, MS, and Zack Windham of Brandon, MS; her brother, Shane (Vickie) Foster of Gulfport, MS; and her grandson, Eli Windham. In lieu of flower, the family request that memorials be made to FBC of Richland for CWJC/CMJ for the GED Program.
