Stanley Sullivan

Stanley Earl Sullivan Sr., 71 died on Thursday August 5, at Oschner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be 4-7pm Sunday August 8, 2010 at Chancellor Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11am Monday August 9, 2010 at Alta Woods United Methodist Church with interment at Terry Cemetery.\ He was a 1956 graduate of Provine High School and attended Mississippi State University where he was a member of the ATO fraternity. He was owner of Buck Sullivan's Auto Repair (Jackson), Sullivan Ford-Lincoln-Mercury (Brookhaven), and H&H Chief Sales (Carthage). Mr. Sullivan was an active member of Alta Woods United Methodist Church, a Mason, and a past member of the Rotary Club. His hobbies included fishing in Grand Isle, LA Farming, and being surrounded by his family and friends. He was affectionately known as "Big Daddy" to everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Augustus Lavelle (Buck) Sullivan and Estelle Padgett Sullivan. \ He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Jeanette Posey Sullivan.
