Mrs. Stella Bridges White

Mamie Estella “Stella” White passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at her home in Harrisville. She was 69 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, April 7th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Harrisville Baptist Church in Harrisville. Burial will follow at Harrisville Cemetery. Stella was born November 29, 1951 in Jackson, MS to the late B.F. and Wilma Bridges. She was a life-long resident of Harrisville and a faithful member of Harrisville Baptist Church. She retired from the banking industry after working more than 30 years as a teller. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She was known for her kindness and her smile. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Randy White and her brother, Jerry Bridges. She is survived by her daughter, Shonna Jones of Harrisville; son, Michael (Kimberly) Bridges of Ocean Springs; brothers, Dub (Faye) Bridges of Hopewell, James (Mary Ellen) Bridges of Harrisville, and Benny (Dianne) Bridges of Harrisville; and 5 grandchildren, Madison (Joshua) Broadhead, Denver Jones, Mackenzie Jones, Brady Bridges, and Adalyn Bridges.
