Mr. Steve Wilson

Robert Stephen “Steve” Wilson, 63, died Monday, March 28, 2016 at Merit Central Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 9am until the 11am memorial service Friday, April 1, 2016 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Steve was a lifelong resident of Jackson and graduate of Provine High School. He was office manager of a Janitorial business in Ridgeland for several years, being very knowledgeable in his job, he enjoyed this line of work very much. Steve loved to watch westerns and enjoyed word puzzles. He had a big heart for people, willing to help anyone in need and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents John Irvin Wilson, Sr. and Mary Watkins Wilson. Also by his sister Gloria Walker. Survivors include his sister Gail Hampton (Ricky) of Terry; brother Johnny Wilson of Madison; nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved as his own, Allison, Austin, Marc, Kris, Cathy, Candace and Joey; 16 great nieces and nephews.
