Visitation is 5-8pm Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram and Friday from 9:00am until the 10:00am service time in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Mrs. Stewart had lived in South Jackson for over 43 years. She graduated from Byram High School in 1950 and from David Lipscomb College in Nashville in 1954. She received her Masters Degree from MS College. Mrs. Stewart was a teacher for more than 30 years, having taught at Forest Hill, Van Winkle, Oak Forest and Woodville Heights.\ \ Survivors include her husband of 51 years Charles Davis Stewart of Terry; daughters, Melanie Stewart of Jackson, Mara Gordy of Cumming, GA and Charlee Oswalt of Terry; grandchildren, Chad, Kelsey and Chase Oswalt and Alyx Gordy.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
