Susan “Susie” Kaye Jones Smith, 64, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at her home. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until the 2:00pm funeral service Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Susie was born in Jackson, MS to the late Alfred Warren Jones and Clyda Mae Richardson Jones. She lived her whole life in Terry, MS having moved to Florence four years ago. Susie loved going to yard sales and spending time with and taking care of her family. Being a grandmother truly defined her. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church in Terry. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, L.T. Smith. Survivors include her sons, Toby Smith (Christy) of Florence and Jeffrey Smith of Pearl; daughter, Lisa Smith Wilkinson (Sean) of Moss Point, MS; brothers, Bo Jones (Linda) of Terry, Anthony Jones (Lisa) of Terry, Richard Jones (Debbie) of Terry and half-brother, Toby Jones (Lil) of Terry; sisters, Donna Lou Jones Smith of Brookhaven, Cynthia Lee “Cindy” Jones of Brookhaven and Margaret Ann “Sister” Jones of Mendenhall; grandchildren, Kayla, Haylee, Logan, Emilee, Stephanie, Gracey, Landon, Victoria, and Jade; great grandchild Addison.
