Ms. Sylvia Tucker

Ms. Sylvia Tucker, 93, passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at University of MS Medical Center in Jackson. There will be a Graveside Service Friday, December 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Clear Branch Cemetery. Ms. Tucker was born January 13, 1927 in Chicago, IL to the late Chris and Lucille Silianoff. She has lived most of her life in the Clear Branch Community. She was a member of Siwell Road Church of Christ, formerly Florence Church of Christ and she retired from Sanderson Farms. She loved to cook and to draw, especially poinsettias and birds. She loved her family and her pets. She was the last of 5 siblings, and along with her parents, Ms. Tucker was also preceded in death by her son, Dave Tucker; and her son-in-law, John Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Sharion Smith of Florence; grandchildren, Dana (Al) Backstrom, Delisa (Chris) Jones, Marcie (Jonathan) Roberts, and Vanessa Smith; and great grandchildren, Darbie Fowler, Tucker Fowler, Alanna Marble, John Luke Jones, and Tahlia Roberts.
