Tammy Dees Wood

Tammy Dees Wood, 49, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, March 28, after a courageous battle with cancer.\ \ Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 P.M. Sunday at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence, and Monday from 9 until the 10:00 Funeral Service at First Baptist Church, Richland. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. \ \ A native of Jackson, Tammy had lived in Florence for the past 18 years. An employee of Arch Aluminum and Glass, she was a devoted mother and Christian, serving with her husband in many churches. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland.\ \ She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Joe; Her son Joseph Wood of Florence, Her mother Christine Dees of Jackson; Brothers Randall Dees of Byram and Rusty (Judy) Dees of Florence; Nephew Matthew Dees of Houston, TX ; and Niece Lindsey Dees of Florence.\ \ Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.\ \ The family wishes to extend their deepest love & gratitude to Dr. Tammy Young and everyone at Jackson Oncology & Outpatient Infusion at Baptist Hospital whom have earned forever our warmest affection for their care & devotion during the last years of Tammy's life.\
