Ted West

Ted Wiley West passed away July 30, 2011. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2 and 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3 before the 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Creek Cemetery.\ \ He is preceded in death by his mother, Kate Wilson, his father, J. R. West and brothers, Bobby West and Quincy West.\ \ Mr. West is survived by his wife, Martha Ann Burke West,of sixty years, children Burke West (Gabi) of Germany, Jack West (Becky) of Louisiana, Rex West (Connie) of Texas, Ann Bailey (John) of Hattiesburg, and Beate West-Leuer(Klaus) of Germany, brother Don (Betty) West, and sisters, Belle Barron, Sadie Smith, Jane (Theron) Dill and Maxine (Johnnie) Churchwell.\ \ His grandchildren are Patrick, Nikolas, Jeremy, Emily, Sally & Scott, Sam & Donisha, Bonnie, Hank, Jill, Jake and Ginni. His great-grandchildren are Hugh and Amelia.\ \ Mr. West was a retiree of the freight industry. He was also an avid cattle and tree farmer.
