Mrs. Thelma Vance Gabucci Cox, 86, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at Grace Bible Church in Ridgeland with visitation preceding the service at 9:00 AM. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday at Shaw Cemetery in Shaw, MS.\

Mrs. Cox, a retired beauty control consultant of 36 years, was born January 3, 1926, in Slate Springs, MS to the late Albert T. and Verna Lunceford Vance. An avid musician, she enjoyed playing piano and singing at Grace Bible Church, where she was a member, and her time singing in the Riggs Manor Choir in recent years was very special to her as well. She was also a devoted animal lover, having a particular interest in cats.\

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Gabucci; and by her sister, Theresa Vance. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Terrell Cox of Raymond; son, Jimmie Gabucci (Allyn) of Kingwood, TX; daughter, Toni Linda Sims...
